Clarkson – William “Bill” M. Didas of Clarkson, NY passed away suddenly on February 4, 2022, at age 80.
William is predeceased by his parents Urban and Marian Didas, as well as his sister, Patricia Speers and son-in-law, Theodore Flanders.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Didas, his sons; Gregory (Wendy) Didas, Patrick (Dawn) Didas, daughters; Melissa (Mike) Henry, Danielle Steele, and Kelly (Scott) Daly. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren whom he adored: Shannon (Justin) Schlaffer, Jessica (Nate) Kalpin, Krystal (Trevor) Bertrand, Kyle (Michelle) Didas, Cody and Chelsea Didas, Emilee Henry, Leah, Tyler and Jake Daly, Peyton and Hunter Steele, and eight great-grandchildren. Bill is also survived by his sister Marcia Brainard, several nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
William took great pride in being a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Eastman Kodak Company. Bill loved cars, racing, and any project one of the kids or grandkids asked him to complete. There was not anything he could not fix or build. He was active and had a zest for life, everywhere he went he ran into someone he knew. Bill was happiest when surrounded by his family and will be deeply missed.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 2 – 5 PM at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., 340 West Ave., Brockport with a Funeral Service at 5 PM. Those wishing may join the family for a meal immediately following services at the Brockport Elk’s Lodge, 4400 Sweden Walker Rd., Brockport.
