Brighton – Jelena passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 16th after battling illness for years. She was predeceased by her husband, Slobodan; her parents, Kendro and Frosa Nanuseski; brothers, Stavre, Joko and Naume; and niece, Jamie. Jelena is survived by her son, Ivan (Svetlana); grandson, Nikola; nephews and nieces, Joanne (Tim), Eta (Todd), Elida (Klime), Kence (Jorde), Jennifer (Mark) and Naume, and their children; and many family members and friends.
Jelena was born in Macedonia and moved to the United States with her family. Jelena had a brave and courageous soul, she loved her family and cared for them a lot. She retired from Wegmans in 2020 and dedicated her last years to her loved ones.
Family and friends may call at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home Sunday 12-3pm. Her Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday at 10am at St. Dimitria Macedonian Orthodox Church, 234 Telephone Rd, West Henrietta, followed by a burial ceremony at Grove Place Cemetery, 2775 Chili Avenue.
