Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Gladys; and brothers, Tom and Bob. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Pam; children, Tom (Alison Crocker) and Patti (James) Castaneda; grandchildren, Sylvia, Martin, Carter and Harrison; brothers, Paul and Jeff (Stephanie); many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and dear friends.
John was a proud Marine Corps veteran who served in Vietnam. He made a career of helping others as a physical therapist in the Rochester area for over 30 years. John will be remembered for his love of family, especially his grandkids, his dry sense of humor, his practical advice and his belief that the refs always made the wrong call.
Family and friends may call Friday, July 22nd from 10am-12:30pm at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Isaiah House or the Aurora House.
