Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at age 78. Predeceased by husband, Ernie; and son-in-law, Paul Recore. Survived by her children, Karen Recore, Kevin, Andrew, Michael (Brandi) and Timothy (Michelle) Welling; sister and best friend, Patricia Payne (Gary Spoor); 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and several step-children, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Kathie was a member of the Bowling Hall of Fame and was very active in the bowling community.
Family and friends may call Sunday, July 24th from 12-2pm at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral Service to follow calling at 2pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
