Passed away surrounded by family on Monday, September 12, 2022 at age 80. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Evelyn; children, Pamela (Scott) Lawrence and Dave Erwin; grandson, Jasper; sisters, Lori (Donn) Besselievre and Jane Erwin; father-in-law, Leon Stiles; brother-in-law, Les (Mary) Stiles; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Ron was a US Navy veteran, a longtime member of the 108th NY, a volunteer for the Jazz Festival and the Military History Society of Rochester, and was also a Mt. Hope Cemetery tour guide.
Family and friends may call at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home Thursday 4-7pm. Funeral service Friday 12pm at the funeral home. (The family requests all visitors please wear masks) Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
