Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at age 82. Predeceased by his wife, Geraldine Bacon. Survived by his wife, Judy; son, Terry (Marcy); grandchild, Gryffin; step-children, Karin, Kimberly (Jay) and Christopher; 7 step-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Ernest retired from Eastman Kodak. He was an Air Force veteran and a dedicated member of the American Legion. He also was a supporter of many community groups including the Boy Scouts, music ensemble fivebyfive, and the Amherst Symphony Orchestra.
Family and friends may call at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home, 2771 Chili Ave. Rochester, NY 14624 on Tuesday, Nov. 1st from 2-5pm. Funeral service to follow calling at 5pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Amherst Symphony Orchestra, PO Box 1083, Williamsville, NY 14231-1087.
