Beverly died peacefully on Sunday, February 5, 2023.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Edward G. Kelly; children, John (Karen), Bernard (Susan), Cecilia (Steven) Maffett, Charles (Mary Jane) and Mary Catherine (Joseph) VanderLinden; grandchildren, Ian Kelly, Ashlan (Kyle) Carter, Noelle Kelly, Brandin (Jennifer) Kelly, Christina (Joseph) Kelly, Megan Maffett, Elizabeth (Keith) Johnson, Benjamin VanderLinden and Lauren VanderLinden; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Michael (Nancy) Kent; sister-in-law, Barbara Kelly; and several nieces and nephews. Beverly was predeceased by her parents, John and Florence Klos; and sister, Joan Klos.
Beverly graduated from Nazareth High School and the Rochester Institute of Technology. She worked at Stromberg-Carlson until she started a family and retired as a secretary for the Diocese of Rochester and the Town of Gates Planning Board. Beverly was a devout Catholic.
Family and friends may call at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home Thursday 4-7pm. Funeral Mass Friday 11:15am at St. Theodore’s Church, 168 Spencerport Rd. Rochester, NY 14606. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
