Avana G. Proctor passed away peacefully on March 15, 2023 at age 93.
Predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Eric. She is survived by her children, Joseph (Jeanne), Leo (Deborah), Lynnette (George) Spirithes and Douglas (Karen); 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brother, Joseph (Sue) Grau; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home on Sunday 1-3pm. Funeral Mass Monday at 9:30am at St. Pius Tenth Church, 3000 Chili Ave. Rochester, NY 14624. Interment, St. Pius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chili Senior Center.
