Sunday, April 9, 2023 at age 97.
Predeceased by his loving wife, Carol; grandson, Jeff Farrell; and son-in-law, Joseph Piazza. Survived by his children, Kathleen Piazza, Marylou (Tom) Ulincy, Tom (Carol), Daniel (Tracy) and David Willard; grandchildren, Mark Willard (Josephine), Allison, Tina (Tom), Elizabeth (Patrick), Daniel Jr. and Samantha; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Ethan, Colin, Keira Jeffrey; and several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Bill was a WWII Navy veteran aboard the ship USS Grundy. He was a retiree of RG&E after 40 years of service and was proud of his 74 consecutive years of vacationing in the Adirondacks at Old Forge.
Family and friends may call at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home Friday 4-7pm. Funeral service Saturday 12pm at the funeral home. Interment, Grove Place Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please raise a glass in Bill’s honor.
