Eleanor grew up in Churchville, where she met the love of her life, David. They were happily married 55 years until David passed away in 2015. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother/great-grandmother, and family was everything to her. She will be remembered for her sweet personality, her infectious trademark laugh and dedication to caring for others. She loved spending time with David and the family at the camp on Tug Hill and in later years as snow birds spending winter months in North Carolina with David.
A celebration of Eleanor’s life will be held at the Union Congregational United Church of Christ, 14 North Main Street, Churchville, NY on Saturday, May 27th at 11 am. We invite everyone to join us for a meal in the lower hall after. In lieu of flowers, donations of desserts for the dinner will be happily accepted (in honor of Eleanor’s sweet tooth!), or donations to the U of R Hospice program or the Alzheimers Association would be greatly appreciated.
