Peacefully, Saturday, May 20, 2023 at age 83, with his loving family by his side.
Predeceased by his parents, Selden and Ethel Stokoe. Survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Judith G., Stokoe; children, Kim (Joe) Snyder, Debra Stokoe (Steve Desmond), Gail (Jim) Kirch of Scottsville, Carolyn (Stephen) Roberts of Henrietta and Jennifer Stokoe of Avoca; grandchildren, Ashley, Brendon and Thomas Snyder, Libby (Brandon) Marshall, Robert Kirch and Alex Wagner; brothers, Dick (Kate Lacy) and Larry (Martha); and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A special thank you to Josh Hunter who helped care for Scott on a daily basis, adding to his quality of life. Scott spent his lifetime contributing to the family farm and instilling the love for the lifestyle in his children and grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to his Memorial Service Monday, June 5th at 10am at the Central Presbyterian Church in Avon, 133 Genesee St. Avon, NY 14414. Private interment, Quaker Rd. Cemetery, Scottsville, NY. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Livingston Co. 4H.
