Passed away on September 20, 2023 at age 77. Predeceased by his wife, Karen (Dunbar) Wright; parents, Stanley & Hortense Wright; brother, David Wright; god-son, Chris Karnes; Claire Simmons. Bill is survived by his daughter, Christine (Dan) Hargarther; sons, Bob (Ann Marie) Simmons, Mark (Lisa) Simmons; god-daughter, Cynthia Wright; step-sons, David Unger, Jamie (Kelley) Unger; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Carol Wright Karnes; brothers, John (Barb) Wright and Michael Wright; sister-in-law, Carol Wright. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, (15 West Ave Spencerport, 14559) His Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10AM at St. John the Evangelist Church (55 Martha St, Spencerport). Interment will be at Parma Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Wild Wings Bird Rescue in memory of Bill.
