Pat passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at age 91 after a brief illness.
Pat is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, John W. Pschierer; parents, Joseph Esse and Edith Rick; and granddaughter, Melissa Lynn Padgett. Pat is survived by her sister, Dorothy Wyand; children, John (Lynn), Thomas (Patricia), Anne (Tony) Chiruck, Kenneth (Leslie) and Karen (Michael) Gould; grandchildren, David (Kristin), Paul (Olivia), Taylor (Taylor), Amy, Corinne, Deanna (Patrick), Bethany (Ben), Cortney, Mark (Emilie), Amanda (Emily) John (Anne), Kaitlin (Kevin) and James; 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
We thank God for blessing us with an amazing and wonderful Mom, Grandmother and friend. Mom’s life was a blessing, her memories a treasure, she is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
Pat loved to spend time working in her gardens, swimming, teaching, travelling with her children, shopping and spending as much time as she could with family.
Pat spent 50+ years with the American Red Cross as a Health and Safety Instructor and a Water Safety Instructor teaching CPR, First Aid and Swimming. Patricia loved working with the children and adults in the Special Ed Swim Program that she taught for years.
Our special thanks to the loving and caring staff at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center who went above and beyond to provide comfort and outstanding care to our Mom as she made her journey home to be with Dad.
Friends may call Thursday, December 14th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home. All are invited to attend Patricia’s funeral mass at 10:00am on Friday December 15th at St. Pius Church, 3000 Chili Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered in Patricia’s honor to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, NY 14626.
