Passed away at age 88 on February 27, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.
Celia is predeceased by her husband, John Syer; parents, Chris & Esther Morgenberger; brother, Peter Morgenberger; and niece, Jeneanne Morgenberger. She is survived by her children, Scott (Kelly) Syer, Stephanie Myers (Dick Chamberlin) and Susan Syer (Erik Welsh); former daughter-in-law, Miriam Syer. Her grandchildren, Brittany Myers (Joe Tokash), Danielle (Elad) Sahar, Amber (Caleb) Jackson, Nicholas (Natalie) Syer, and Dion Welsh; her sister-in-law, Eleanor Morgenberger; and niece, Alicia (Rick) Schober; 7 great-grandchildren; several very special nephews and nieces; along with many very special friends and furbaby Little King (Boo Boo).
Visitation to honor and celebrate the life of Celia Syer is planned for April 20, 2024 from 1-2pm, with Memorial Service to follow from 2-3pm at Walker Brothers Funeral Home (15 West Avenue, Spencerport, NY 14559). A graveside service will be held privately.
