Gail J. Tobin

Gail Jean (Goodrich) Tobin passed away suddenly on June 22, 2024. She grew up in Churchville, NY, raised her family in Gates, NY, and lived her last years in Spencerport, NY where she loved seeing her family, volunteering with the American Legion Auxiliary (Post 330), and perfecting her tole painting.

Survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas; daughters, Karen (Brad) Tobin-Johnson and Cathy (Roman) Koshykar; grandchildren, Ellis and Laine Koshykar; sister, Jacquilyn Goodrich and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, John and F. Virginia (Van Graafeiland) Goodrich, her sister Debra (Goodrich) Allen, and nephew Nekl Allen.

Gail retired from RIT/NTID, where she worked for many years in the Dean’s office as a Sr. Staff Assistant. She enjoyed working in her gardens, crafting, volunteering for veterans, and laughing with those she loved.

Calling hours will be held on Friday June 28, 2024 from 5-7pm at Walker Brothers Funeral Home, 15 West Ave, Spencerport, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held June 29, 2024 at 9:00AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 55 Martha Street, Spencerport, NY. Interment will immediately follow at St. John Cemetery. ASL interpreters will be made available at the services.
