William R. “Bill” Benedict Sr., “Chief” June 28, 2024 age 93. predeceased by wife, Lorraine. Survived by children, Kathleen B. Previte, William (Cheryl) Benedict Jr., Robert (Dawn) Benedict; grandchildren, Brandon, & Charles Previte, Bryan, Michael, Samantha & Jack Benedict.
Bill was a Veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War. He was a career Firefighter and worked for the Rochester City Fire Department and retired as Battalion Chief. He loved the game of golf and sometimes golf loved him back. He loved spending time with his many friends and family. He will be deeply missed.
