Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024, at the age of 96. Predeceased by her husband William S. Fujimura. She is survived by her sons Mark Fujimura and Robert (Anne) Fujimura, grandchildren Kathryn (Matthew) Smith, Jillian (Bradford) Barry, Emylianne Fujimura, Jacob Fujimura, Josiah Fujimura and Madeline Fujimura, 2 great grandchildren Elise Smith and Harper Barry, brother James Yamaguchi, nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends.
Amy was a survivor of the Japanese American Interment Camp. She was a Teacher of English as a second language for the Fairport Central Schools. Amy loved to cruise with her beloved husband William and was a Master in Ikebana, Japanese flower arranging.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Amy E. Fujimura scholarship at Nazareth College, Rochester, NY.
