William F. Bopp (Bill)


William F. Bopp (Bill) born January 27, 1943 in Rochester passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025 in Palmetto, Florida. He was 82 years old. He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Virginia (Ginny Benthin) Bopp.
Bill leaves a legacy of his life through his survivors; mother of his children, Catherine Bopp and 5 wonderful children: William Jr. (Kathy) Bopp, Timothy (Donna) Bopp, Robert Bopp (Debbie Ferrante), Thomas (Valerie) Bopp, and Tammy (Randy) Smith. Additionally, he is survived by 14 grandchildren: Danielle (John) Escher, Christopher Bopp, Steven Bopp, Angela (Thomas) Marcellus, Jesse (Kayleigh) Bopp, Jayme (Brian) Woodin, Kevin Bopp, Jenny Bopp, Kyle Bopp, Daniel Bopp, Leigha Bopp, Gary Zittel, Cheyenne Kendrick, Dakota (Val) French; and 22 great grandchildren. Bill is also survived by his sister Debra (Robert) Lauber and several nieces and nephews.
Bill graduated Spencerport High School, retired from Kodak, and worked as a contractor/remodeler. He was a volunteer fireman for the Spencerport Fire Department and belonged to the Spencerport Exempts Club. He moved to Florida in 1992 and continued to work as a handyman, remodeling and providing helpful services to his neighbors.
A celebration for family and friends will be held June 8th, 2025 at the Gravelle Lodge at Pineway Ponds in Spencerport from 2 pm to 6 pm.
