LaNette C. Villa, age 78, of Hilton, New York, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025.
LaNette was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who lived her life with love, warmth, and a spirit of adventure. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ralph Villa, earlier this year, and by her son, Neil, in 2003.
She is survived by her sons, William Czerniak, William (Gloria) Villa, and Ralph Villa III; her 10 cherished grandchildren; and 13 adored great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great joy in spending time with them and celebrating life’s moments—big and small.
LaNette dedicated many years of service working for the Monroe County DMV and Eastman Kodak, where she formed lasting friendships and left a meaningful impact on those she worked with.
She and her husband shared a love of the open road, often traveling together on their Harley-Davidson motorcycle trike. They enjoyed traveling locally, always seeking adventure side by side. LaNette also loved going out to eat and enjoying the company of loved ones, always bringing laughter and warmth to every gathering.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
LaNette will be remembered for her strength, her kindness, and the unwavering love she gave to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
