Passed away in Rochester, NY, on August 21, 2025, at the age of 93. She is predeceased by her parents, Henry and Katie Kemmerer,
and brothers Lewis, Harold, Harry, and Ervin Kemmerer.
Donna is survived by her dear husband Robert W. Stites, loving daughters Kathy Stites and Susan (Robert) Stites-Doe,
cherished grandchildren Katie Doe and Erin (Nico) Di Prima, and precious great-grandchildren Sage and Abel Di Prima.
Donna blessed the world with her presence on October 11, 1931, born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She was most recently a resident of Brockport, NY. A woman who appreciated the finer things in life: time spent with family, gardening, a love of animals (especially dogs), art, toys, reading, and shopping with her daughter, Susan. Later in life, she converted to Catholicism and was a member of St. Brigid’s in Bergen, New York.
Donna was clever, talented, and was known for her quick wit, her relentless pursuit of the perfect pair of shoes, her love of the Pope,
and Bob Doe’s bean soup.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Hildebrandt Hospice in Rochester, New York.
