HILTON: Mattia, Michael J., died February 3, 2026, at age 73. He was predeceased by his parents, Domenico and Orestina Mattia. He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Jean; his children, Christina (Joseph) Latronica, Anthony (Jessica) Mattia, and Rosanne (Noah) Harald; grandchildren, Julia, Alexa, and Tessa Latronica, Lydia and Amelia Mattia, Francesca, Shai, and Almarinda Harald; brother, Giuseppe (Stefanina) Mattia; brother-in-law, James (Anne) Wuethrich; sister-in-law, Eileen Wuethrich; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Michael was born in Petacciato, Italy, and immigrated to the United States at the age of four. He studied at St. John Fisher College and Roberts Wesleyan College and went on to build a career at Delco Products, where he served as a supervisor. Michael lived life with faith and quiet conviction. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor, remarkable ability to build or fix anything, and his love of woodworking, cooking, traveling, fishing, and hunting.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, February 8, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., 735 East Avenue, Hilton. Michael’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 9, at 11 a.m. at the Parish of the Holy Family, 4100 Lyell Road, Rochester. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations in Michael’s memory can be made to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, NY 14626.
HILTON: Wyant, Harold E., passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 93.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Harriet Flack Wyant, in 2005; his son, Randy Wyant, in 2009; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Merton & Lois Wyant and Royal & Joyce Wyant; and his great-grandson, Justtin.
Harold is survived by his sons, Michael (Sue) Wyant and Thomas (Anne) Wyant; his daughter, Rebecca (Peter) Pulos; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Shane) Dale, Michael (Troy Lin) Wyant, Janelle (Chris) Taylor, Andrea (Jeremy) Kemp, Christina (Ein Culhane) Wyant, and David Wyant; and his great-grandchildren, Juliana, Devon, Cecilia, Brooklyn, Bentley, Jackson, and Brenna, all of whom were a great source of pride and joy to him.

Harold was a veteran of the United States Army, having served his country from 1954 to 1955. He retired from Eastman Kodak Company after many years of dedicated service as a mechanic. He was the owner of Cobblestone Farms on Manitou Road in Hilton.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with the place and time to be published at www.burgerfuneralhome.com when determined. Interment will take place in Parma Union Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

NORTH CHILI: Schirano, Stephen J., died suddenly January 28, 2026, at age 72. He is predeceased by his father, Joseph Schirano; mother, Rose Schirano; and brother, Gary Schirano. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Diane (Ambeau) Schirano; his daughter, Sara (John) Sabins; grandson, Everett Sabins; brothers and sister, Brian (Phyllis) Schirano, Douglas (Michele) Schirano, Robert (Beth) Schirano, JoAnn (Jim) DeWick of GA; nieces and nephews, Aaron and Matthew (Jessica) Schirano, Julia Schirano, Ryan and Bailee, Lindsey, Trenten, Dylan, and Garrett DeWick; great niece, Emerson Schirano; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Stephen enjoyed watching movies, spending time with his grandson, fishing, and spending time at the family cottage.
His Funeral Mass was held on February 6 at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Churchville. Interment, St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery, Churchville. Donations in his memory can be made to Wilmot Cancer Institute, Office of Advancement, 300 East River Road, P.O. Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627.
SPENCERPORT: Webster, Ida M., died January 29, 2026, at age 96. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Russell; her parents, Elmer and Lillian Kanous; brothers, Alan Kanous and Clayton Kanous; and sister, Audrey McClellan. She is survived by her children, Russ (Liz) Webster and Elaine (Joe) Zorsch; grandchildren, Jackie and Holly Webster, and Shannon and Cory Zorsch; sister, Naomi Strassner; and nieces, nephews, and many friends. Ida worked for Eastman Kodak Company as a film inspector in her younger years. She was a member of Adams Basin United Methodist Church. In her leisure, she enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, gardening, and bird watching.
A Graveside Service will be held for Ida in the spring at Parma Union Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Donations can be made to Adams Basin United Methodist Church, 4292 Canal Road, Spencerport, NY 14559, in her memory. Arrangements entrusted to the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Hilton.
