Sixth graders at St. Lawrence School adopted a Marine Troop which is stationed in Afghanistan during the holiday season.
Julia Mungenast decided to adopt this troop as part of her service project for the year. With the help of her classmates, she shipped a box of holiday goodies and cards to the 15 Marines.
One of the Marines in this troop is a local Hilton High School graduate, Kyle Christensen.
