The Hilton School District appointed Kelley O’Connell as assistant principal at Northwood Elementary School. She replaces Renee Mulrooney, who joined Quest Elementary School as principal. O’Connell has been with the Hilton School District for 21 years, first as a teacher, then K-12 program coordinator, administrative teacher on special assignment, and most recently as interim principal at Quest.
O’Connell is a graduate of The College at Brockport where she earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education, a master’s degree in health science and certificate of advanced study in educational administration.
A resident of Greece, O’Connell has two sons, Iain, age 15, and Brennen, age 11, both students at Greece Odyssey Academy.
