“Cross Country,” a musical by Pam Andrews, was presented to St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Hilton on May 15, 16; it involved all the students at the school in acting, singing and moving to the music.

Directed by Betty Benoit, a teacher of seventh and eighth graders and Music Instructor for the school, the musical featured 5 “runners” who had individual attitudes that impinged on their athletic abilities.

As Pastor Mark Ball explained: “Cross Country talks about how we run the race of life and encourages us to focus on the cross of Jesus.”

The one hour show had a message that was joyfully received by all in attendance.
