Brockport Central Schools announces administrative appointments

During the May 20, 2014 Board of Education meeting, administrative appointments were approved for Athletic Director, Barclay Principal, and two A.D. Oliver Middle School Assistant Principals.

Todd Hagreen, Assistant Principal at the High School will be the district’s new Athletic Director, succeeding Chris Bourne, who is retiring June 30. Todd was a Brockport High School Physical  Education Teacher and coach for nine years before becoming Assistant Principal in 2010.

Scott Morrison, Barclay Assistant Principal, was appointed as the new Barclay School Principal. Morrison will succeed Rhonda Steffen who is retiring June 30. He became Assistant Principal at Barclay in 2011 after joining us from the Lyndonville School District, where he served as an Assistant Principal for grades 7 through 12.

Jerrod Roberts and Eric Vaillancourt were appointed as the new OMS Assistant Principals. They are filling positions held by interim Assistant Principals Kate Avery and Bill Bryant, whose assignments will end on June 30.

Roberts comes from the Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District where he is the High School Dean of Students. He has also taught Spanish at the district for nine years, and was a sixth-grade special education teacher. Vaillancourt is a Teacher on Special Assignment with Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES, assisting with the implementation of the Common Core Learning Standards in more than seven school districts. Prior to that he worked in the Palmyra-Macedon School District as Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, and Social Studies teacher.
