The Brockport High School Band presents their “Evening of Jazz” on Friday, February 6 starting at 6 p.m. in the High School Cafeteria. Featured performing groups this year are: The Oliver Middle School sixth-grade Stage Band, The Oliver Middle School seventh-and eighth-grade Jazz Ensemble, The School of the Arts (SOTA) Jazz Ensemble, The Brockport Big Band, plus the host Brockport HS Blue Notes.
Admission is free and doors open at 5:30 p.m. In addition to the music, concessions will be available and there will be a variety of raffles held throughout the evening. Drawings will include local vendor items as well as gift basket give-a-ways. At the end of the evening, a drawing will be held for the annual Band raffle. This year’s big prizes are a $50 Visa gift card, $100 cash and the first prize of a 32G Kindle Fire HDX 7″ tablet with cover.
