Hilton Central School District will hold its kindergarten registration in March. Parents of children whose fifth birthday falls on or before December 1 may enroll their children in Hilton’s full-day kindergarten program.
Kindergarten registration will take place at Village and Northwood Elementary Schools on Monday, March 16 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday, March 17 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Registration at Quest Elementary School will be held Wednesday, March 18 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and Thursday, March 19 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The dates in the district calendar are incorrect.
To register, bring: original birth certificate, proof of residency, proof of immunizations and custody or guardianship papers (if applicable). All families who participated in the school census will have a kindergarten registration packet mailed to them the first week of March. Anyone who did not receive a packet, can call 392-1000, ext. 7031 to be placed on the mailing list. Also, residents can complete the New Student Update Form on the district website (Hilton.k12.ny.us) under “Helpful Links” and “Registration” to ensure that they are on the mailing list.
Information about preschool screening (birth to age five) for possible developmental delays is available by calling the Hilton School District Office of Learning Support Services (Special Education) at 392-1000, ext. 6054.
The Hilton School District elementary school attendance boundary line is Route 261 (Manitou Road) — all Greece residents attend Northwood Elementary School, 433 North Greece Road and all residents west of the town line (Parma, Clarkson, Hamlin) attend the Village Elementary School, 100 School Lane. Quest Elementary School, 225 West Avenue, is a school of choice and requires an approved application before registration.
