Brockport Central School District Transportation Department held its 2nd annual “Kindergarten” Training Program on August 13 and 15.
Parents brought their kindergarteners into the transportation department and took a shuttle to the Ginther School (UPK-1) where there were six bus stations set up to train the students, as well as parents, about the bus rules. For most students, this was their very first bus ride and they got to ride along with a family member.
The transportation department held a drawing for all of those who attended. Brockport Walmart donated four gift cards in order to help four students with some back-to-school supplies.
The lucky winners include: Aubrey Conner, Jayden Dela Cruz, Caitlyn MacDonald and Todd Scaccia (all kindergarteners).
