Churchville-Chili HS inducts new National Honor Society members
The 2015 National Honor Society (NHS) Induction Ceremony for Churchville-Chili High School was held on November 17 in the C-C Performing Arts Center. The newest members of the NHS – 75 strong – received a welcome from Principal William Geraci and advisor Paul Glor, along with congratulations from CCCSD Superintendent Lori Orologio. The inductees were selected based on their high standards of scholarship, service, leadership and character: the qualities all members must represent.
The roster of speakers included NHS Officers Jacob Perkins, Ben Martin, Katie Wooton and Melissa Prewasincak who each presented thoughts on the importance of one of the qualities necessary for membership. Featured speaker, Churchville-Chili NHS Teacher of the Year Jonathan Woodard, shared his views on the important role empathy plays in our lives.
