The Hilton Board of Education has appointed Mark Hilburger to fill the unexpired term of Daniel Wellington, who resigned December 31 due to moving out of state.
Hilburger is a math teacher leader at Greece Arcadia Middle and High School. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in secondary mathematics from SUNY Geneseo and a Master of Education degree from the University of Rochester.

The term for Hilburger’s position will expire June 30, 2016. If he wishes to continue in the position, he will need to run for a three-year term in the annual school board elections on May 17, 2016.
In addition to appointing Hilburger, the Board of Education elected Aggie Seneway as president and Barbara Cutrona as vice president.
The Hilton Board of Education generally meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 7 p.m. in the Board Room of the District Offices, 225 West Avenue, Hilton, unless otherwise indicated.
