Three local contest candidates in the Rotary District 7120 annual Oratorical Contest presented original speeches on Rotary’s 4-Way Test at a recent Brockport Club meeting.

Rotary’s 4 – Way Test is: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build good will and better relationships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned? Brockport students Max Sevor, Jacob Rogers and Neil Singh explained the test and related it to their lives and their world.

The club judged the students based on content and presentation, which led them to select Sevor and Rogers as winners to enter into the next level. The two participants will go on to the regional level where they must memorize their five to seven minute long speeches. Winners from the regionals will then go to the district finals where college scholarships worth a total of over $50,000 will be available.

The club congratulates all three students for their excellent effort and to their families and others who supported their endeavors.
