Brockport Class Acts Talent Show reaches out to past participants
This year marks 30 years of singing, dancing and other exciting acts during the Class Acts Talent Show held annually at Brockport High School. This year’s event will take place Saturday, March 5 at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
The show will feature 26 different acts, including singing, dancing, bands, magic and comedy.
Organizers call out to previous participants, students and faculty who have been involved in the show over the last 30 years to come together again to celebrate and take a look back at the last 30 years. They will review the changes in entertainment and society throughout the years and share clips of the past three decades of Class Acts.
Tickets cost $10 in advance and can be purchased by visiting showtix4u.com or at the door for $15. Proceeds will go towards graduation scholarships and award money.
“In this day and age, it’s hard to find a fundraiser for scholarships that can endure the test of time. Class Acts provides an evening of entertainment that in return offers close to $2,000 in scholarships annually,” said Neil Czerniak, Brockport High School teacher and Class Acts co-organizer.
A panel made up of previous winners and retired faculty will judge the acts.
