Spencerport High School marks 20th School to Career program

The 20th annual School-to-Career breakfast was held at Spencerport High School on May 20, when the district and school recognized its students and area businesses who participated in the program for the 2015-16 year.

Two scholarships were presented by the School-to-Career advisory council members, with funding for these raised by generous contributions from the council, as well as area businesses. Olivia Coccitto received $500 and plans to attend the State University of Fredonia to major in communications and public relations. Jean Tomasulo received $1,000 and plans to attend Nazareth College of Rochester to major in art education.

In addition to the breakfast, Principal Sean McCabe also publicly congratulated  Debbie Somers on her retirement and recognized her for her dedication and work to STC.
