Hilton CSD appoints new assistant principal at Merton Williams Middle School
The Hilton Central School District has appointed Ashley Socola as assistant principal at Merton Williams Middle School. She replaces Michael LeGault who now serves as assistant principal at Hilton High School.
“I look forward to contributing to the established culture of learning at Hilton Central School District that emphasizes a shared responsibility of student achievement,” said Socola.
Most recently, Socola worked in the Penfield Central School District as an administrative intern at Penfield High School, Bay Trail Middle School and Harris Hill Elementary School. She has also worked as a classroom teacher at Harris Hill Elementary School.
Socola’s education includes post graduate certification in K-12 School Leadership from the University of Rochester; a graduate degree in Childhood Education and an undergraduate degree in Communication and Rhetorical Studies, both from Syracuse University.
“I am honored to be the assistant principal at Merton Williams Middle School,” she said. “And I am excited to get to know the students, staff and families of Hilton CSD.”
Socola resides in Penfield with her husband, Jason, and their two daughters, Ava and Elle. She began her new position on September 19.
