FIRST Team 340 Greater Rochester Robotics (G.R.R.) will compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) World Championship Event from April 26 through 29 in St. Louis, Missouri.
The team recently competed at the Finger Lakes Regional Competition at RIT where they ranked event finalists, qualifying the team to attend the World Championship. Team 340 also received the Industrial Design Award which celebrates form and function in an efficiently designed machine that effectively addresses the game challenge. The team also competed at the Buckeye Regional in Cleveland, Ohio, March 30 through April 1, prior to their trip to the World Championship event.
The World Championship Opening Ceremonies will be held Wednesday, April 26, with competition matches April 27 through 29. For a full schedule of events, detailed results of matches as they become available, or to watch a live stream, visit www.cccsd.org/Robotics.
