The Canal View Elementary School Breakfast and a Book Club honored two of its long-time volunteers. Linda and Jim DePuy of Macedon visited the school twice a month for 11 years with their dogs in training for the Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Sadly, Jim passed away in June 2016, and Canal View presented Linda with a plaque in his memory to be visible in the school’s library. Fifth grade volunteers and former book club members Taylor Kaye, Andrew Stocker, Mackenzie Stocker and Jersey Ciao presented the plaque.
