Roberts Wesleyan launches Corporate Partnership program

Roberts Wesleyan College launched the Corporate Partnership program this summer and has signed three organizations. The college recognizes the importance of providing affordable and accessible educational opportunities and that businesses are committed to meeting the needs of their employees who aspire to excellence. Its new educational partnership agreements are with Catholic Charities, Mary Cariola Children’s Center and St. Ann’s Community.

“This partnership shows each organization’s commitment to education and supporting employees in achieving their full potential,” said Kimberley Wiedefeld, vice president for enrollment management.  “We are excited to prepare professionals who will make contributions to our community. This is a win-win for employees and the institution.”

With this partnership, qualifying employees will receive the following benefits at the college:

•An exclusive 25 percent discount for benefit eligible employees, spouses and dependents, which can be combined with corporate tuition assistance programs.

•Accelerated, part-time and full-time classroom and online options designed to support work-life balance.

•Experience and mentorship with faculty who have real-world perspectives and who focus on students and their success.

•60+ undergrad majors, 15 graduate programs, four bachelor’s completion programs and a Doctor of Psychology program.

“We are very pleased to become an educational partner with Roberts Wesleyan College,” Mary Cariola Children’s Center President and CEO Karen Zandi said. “The college’s commitment to work with not-for-profit agencies truly strengthens the community as a whole by providing educational opportunities for those wanting to further their education and their careers. Ultimately, the workforce becomes stronger and so does the entire region.”

Catholic Charities’ mission is to uphold the dignity of every person, especially the poor, troubled, frail and oppressed, providing direct assistance, advocating for social and economic justice, and encouraging self-sufficiency through education and support. St. Ann’s Community is Rochester’s leading provider of senior housing and health services. Mary Cariola is a leader in education and life skills solutions and serves hundreds of children and young adults each year through academic, residential and community outreach programs.

The Corporate Partnership program is part of the college’s 2016-21 strategic plan. For more information, visit www.roberts.edu/partners or contact partners@roberts.edu.
