Registration is now open for the Hilton Community Education Winter-Spring 2018 semester of classes, several of which begin the week of January 8, 2018. The brochure has been mailed to district residents and is available on line at Hilton.k12.ny.us/commed.
New programs include: A Taste of New York Cheeses with Some History Thrown In; #1 Garden Design Secret – Plant Combinations; Clay Fairy House Workshop; Brush Calligraphy; Crockpot Meals in a “Minute,” Furniture Painting with Chalk-Based Paints; Excelsior Scholarship “Free Tuition” Information Session; Laughter Yoga; The Rochester Radio Roadshow; and many more.
Hilton Community Education is also partnering with other school districts, organizations and companies to broaden learning opportunities for the community with classes such as: American Sign Language, Mixed Martial Arts, NYS Safe Boating, Home Repair Workshops, and more.
The online registration system allows users to register faster by accepting Discover, Visa and MasterCard payments. Registration is also still accepted by check or cash either by mail or drop off between the hours of 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the District Office/Quest Elementary School, 225 West Avenue, Hilton.
