Churchville-Chili performers recognized at RBTL Stars of Tomorrow Gala

Churchville-Chili’s production of “The Phantom of the Opera” received numerous accolades at this year’s Stars of Tomorrow 20th Anniversary Gala presented by the Rochester Broadway Theatre League. These recognitions include:

• Outstanding Dance Ensemble

• Outstanding Production Crew

• Outstanding Pit Ensemble

• The Bob Sagan Award for Outstanding Musical Production: Churchville-Chili won for the third year in a row. “The Phantom of the Opera” 2017-2018, “Shrek The Musical” 2016-2017, “Legally Blonde” 2015-2016

•Outstanding Supporting Actors: Christopher Bunk as Monsieur Andre and John Collier as Monsieur Firmin

•Outstanding Supporting Actress: Emily Sylvester as Carlotta Giudicelli

•Outstanding Leading Actor: Donald Woodard as The Phantom. Donald was recognized last year as Outstanding Supporting Actor for his role as Lord Farquaad in “Shrek The Musical.”

•Outstanding Leading Actress: Shelby Ennis as Christine Daae. This is Shelby’s third year being recognized. Previous recognition for Elle Woods in “Legally Blonde” and Fiona in “Shrek The Musical.”

•Special Recognition (selected by Stars of Tomorrow Adjudicators): Churchville-Chili FIRST Team 340 Robotics for the Phantom’s boat

•Special Recognition (selected by School Production Team): Helena Buttons and Taylor Calisto

•Tip of the Hat (selected by School Production Team): Joshua Fry, Jenna Guyette, Marissa DeFranco, Abigail Post.
