Brockport Central School District residents with a child who will turn five years old by December 1, 2019, are eligible to enroll the child for kindergarten in September 2019. Kindergarten Student Information Forms were mailed to all families with eligible children listed in the school database on January 18. Parents who do not receive a Kindergarten Student Information Form by the end of January should call the registrar’s office at 637-1857.
The following information will be requested when parents call the registrar: child’s name and date of birth; parents’ names, addresses, home and work phone numbers; pediatrician’s name; emergency contact information
An information meeting for parents of incoming kindergarten students will be held Monday, March 4 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Ginther Elementary School.
Kindergarten registration packets will be mailed at the end of February/beginning of March. Parents should bring the completed registration packet to their student’s screening appointment in April, which they may schedule during the parent information meeting on March 4 or when the school contacts them after the March meeting.
