The Brockport-Spencerport Jazz Ensemble will perform a concert on Sunday, March 17, at 7 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 14 State Street, Brockport. The ensemble is comprised of sixteen students from Brockport High School, A.D. Oliver Middle School, and Spencerport High School. The program will include music from jazz and other genres, including music composed and arranged by the band’s founder, Brockport freshman, Joey Stempien. The group is directed by retired Brockport teacher and Eastman graduate, Greg Turner. Admission to the concert is free with the contribution of a non-perishable food item for the Brockport Food Shelf.
