1972 Hilton High School graduate Jessilou Gage Vaccarelli received her certificate from the Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School’s “School of Christian Leadership” on May 11. The commencement ceremony was held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Rochester. The guest speaker was the Rev. Dr. Amy K. Butler from the Riverside Church in New York City, who gave an inspirational address entitled “Good Enough.” A reception was held in Vaccarelli’s honor at the First Congregational Church of Spencerport, UCC. She is currently serving there as Sunday School Superintendent, and leads their “Sunday’s Cool” program for children and youth. The Spencerport UCC is located at 65 Church Street in the village. Worship services led by the Rev. Michael Sloan are on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m., followed by fellowship and refreshments. All are welcome.
