The T. J. Connor Chapter of the Wheatland-Chili National Honor Society (NHS) asks students in the Middle School/High School to submit nominations for the Teacher of Excellence Award. Criteria for nomination is rigorous and students must submit an explanation for their choice. NHS members read and evaluate the submissions and decide who the recipient is for that school year. The recipient of the previous year cannot be nominated. Wheatland-Chili Math Teacher Tony Mannara was selected as the 2019 Teacher of Excellence. Mannara is pictured here with Rachel Lynch, NHS President and member of the Class of 2019, and Lindsey Clar, NHS President-Elect and member of the Class of 2020.
