About his music, Highsmith has said “Anything can inspire me. Maybe an emotion or a person. It could be a smell. It could be a situation. There’s no one recipe for me when writing a song.”
In the past decade he has recorded 10 top-selling smooth jazz CDs that have sold thousands of copies worldwide. His CD, The Anthology of Sound, received a Grammy nomination.
Joining Highsmith will be Larry Singleton, keyboards; Tony Hiler, drums; and Jerome Bell, bass.
