There will be two big events at WEMOCO Career and Technical Education Center, 3589 Big Ridge Road, Spencerport, on Saturday, March 21.
The SkillsUSA Craft and Vendor Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to the public. The event features student-made crafts, student-provided services, children’s activities, food, and professional crafters and vendors. Admission is $2, free for children 12 and under. Funds raised support students traveling to state and national SkillsUSA competitions.
There will also be a WEMOCO Alumni Celebration held the same day. The event is open to all WEMOCO alumni and begins with a meet and greet at 11 a.m. Reservations are not required. Awards will be presented at 11:30 a.m. for Outstanding Young Alum, Distinguished Alum, and Distinguished Community Partner. Alumni will have an opportunity to tour the school, see the new facilities, and visit the SkillsUSA fundraiser following the awards presentation.
