Any child who will be four years old on or before December 1, 2020, and is a resident of the Kendall Central School District is eligible to register for Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) for the 2020-21 school year.
The Kendall UPK program is held five days per week, follows the school district’s calendar, and adheres to the district’s Board of Education student attendance policy. The morning session is held from 8:40 to 11:30 a.m., and the afternoon session from 12:50 to 3:30 p.m. Due to strict NYS Department of Transportation requirements, the district is not able to provide transportation for a child enrolled in the Kendall UPK program until the child is four years of age. Requests for a morning or afternoon slot cannot be honored as this is determined by residence east or west of Kendall Road. Parents are welcome to transport their child.
Those wishing to enroll a child in the Kendall UPK program may contact Registrar Terri Kroth at 659-8930, option 1, to have a registration packet and a list of required documents mailed. Completed documents should be mailed back or returned to the elementary office no later than Monday, June 8, 2020.
UPK Screening will take place on August 11 and 12, 2020. Parents who have registered their child for UPK will receive a phone call in June to schedule an appointment.

Parents of eligible students will be mailed a registration packet along with a list of required documents. Completed documents can be mailed back or returned to the elementary office. Parents who have not received the registration packet or who have any questions should contact Registrar Terri Kroth at 659-8930, option 1.
Parents who have a child in the Kendall UPK program with Jackie Roberts have already completed the registration packet.
Kindergarten Screening is scheduled for July 28 through 30, 2020. Parents will receive a phone call in June to schedule an appointment.
