The Spencerport Central Retirees Association (SCRA) awarded scholarships totaling $4,200 to three 2020 Spencerport High School graduating seniors. SCRA is an organization made up of all those retired from the school district working in any capacity.
The awards went to the following graduates:
•Elizabeth Maloney won a $1,600 SCRA Scholarship. She is attending Siena College majoring in psychology and social work. Her long term goal is to go on to law school to become a child advocate.
•Hannah Rosipayla received a $1,600 SCRA Scholarship. She is attending SUNY Brockport and majoring in nursing.
•Sylvia Rooney received the $1,000 Joseph Clement Scholarship. She is majoring in Inclusive Childhood Bilingual Education at SUNY Brockport.
