New Director of Curriculum appointed at CCCSD

The Churchville-Chili Central School District has selected a new Director of Curriculum, Assessments and Professional Development, Renee Mulrooney, who was appointed at the March 9, Board of Education meeting. Mulrooney, who is currently an elementary school assistant principal at CES and FRS, will replace current director, Sue Witter, who is retiring this June.

Mulrooney lives in West Irondequoit with her husband and three children. Their oldest son is a freshman at Massachusetts Maritime Academy and their other two children attend Irondequoit High School. She is a graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva.  She earned her master’s degree in reading at Georgia Southern University and her administrative certification at the University of Rochester. This is her 25th year in the field of education. Renee says her personal motto is to never stop learning. She is very excited to take on this new role and continue to work with the students and staff at Churchville-Chili.

She will begin in the Office of Instruction on May 3.
