Tom Fisher, math teacher at Hilton’s Merton Williams Middle School, recently received a News 8 WROC Golden Apple Award. Seventh-grader Grady Kimmel nominated his teacher because he says that Mr. Fisher makes it comfortable for students to ask questions, always asks about their day, and has helped Grady like math.
