In partnership with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, welding students at WEMOCO built three aluminum fish pens to be used for pen-rearing. Nets will protect the fish from predators while they grow. Two of the pens will be used for steelhead in Sackets Harbor and one will be for salmon in the Salmon River.
